Coaching is not…

  • A lecture with presentations and having you write book reports on behavior change and interpersonal relationships

  • A series of quick fixes to hack your way over the bumpy parts of life…although quick wins ARE part of the process

  • About waking up at 5am in the morning to fit as much as possible in your day in

  • Dwelling too much on the past and all the skeletons in the closet (spoiler alert: we all have them)

  • A weekly checklist of tasks to complete (although many of my clients LOVE a checklist)

  • A neat, upward trending line of progress 

  • About living a perfect life

I’ve read a lot of self-help books and listen to podcasts, but I still had a hard time turning that inspiration into action for many of my life goals. I was getting in my own way a lot. At 38, you think I would’ve figured it out already. Emily is smart, warm, kind, but not afraid of going deep and having the difficult conversation, all to help you blossom. She was an incredible guide in leading me to answers that were already inside myself and then equipping me with the knowledge and tools to grow from there. Working with Emily was a season where I leaned in unapologetically to working on myself and getting to know myself better. I’m excited about how I show up in the world, and I have Emily to thank for helping me make that shift.
